The Bottleneck Is Discernment

I'm an early example of something that's about to become normal.

The tools for making things are getting so accessible that the bottleneck isn't execution anymore — it's discernment. Knowing what you like. Following a feeling through enough iterations that the shape of the thing reveals itself.

Music is where this is possible right now. A song can exist as a complete thing. So that's where I started.

After a lifetime of creation requiring hard work and suffering, this is the most joyful, wondrous experience I've ever had. I'm so happy I get to be one of the first people to do this.

There will be a lot more people like me soon, in music and everywhere else. The future is one where suffering is optional to make good art. That's a beautiful thing.
